Under the Narendra Modi BJP regime, spewing venom against Muslims and inciting supporters to fight with Muslims the way Maharana Pratap Singh fought with Mughal Emperor Akbar has become a routine in so-called democratic India.
The firebrand Hindutva protagonists say, “At that time, there was only one Akbar. Today, you will find the illegitimate progeny of Akbar at every nook and corner. We do not want to fight anyone. However, if they look at our women and cow mother, we will teach them in the language which they understand.
Hate monger and serial hate speaker Suresh Chavhanke, editor-in-chief of Sudarshan TV, delivered yet another communal speech. He gives speeches and makes statements that are communal, divisive, and incendiary and amount to hate speeches. Such incendiary remarks have the propensity to stoke tensions and pit the Hindus against the Muslims.
He is instigating violence, as has been happening in recent times. Choosing Noida, Uttar Pradesh as his hotspot this time, he raised open calls for the Hindus to keep swords, and raise arms against the Muslim community.
In his speech, Chavhanke openly threatened to use force and violence against minorities in order to make India an undivided Hindu nation. He also urged the government to change the name of the streets in Delhi and rename them to Hindu leaders.
It is essential to note here that on March 19, in Maharashtra, when Aurangabad had been renamed as Sambhajinagar, Suresh Chavhanke, along with T. Raja Singh, the BJP leader, and MLA from Telangana, had given hate speeches, which resulted in the rampant destruction of public property and pelting of stones. They gave many Islamophobic statements and used anti-Muslim slurs.
They said in the last 75 years, we have seen roads named after Babar, Humayun, etc., will these remain the same in the future? Under the new parliament house, change the names of these roads to Maharana Pratap Road, Prithviraj Chauhan Road, Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road, Sambhaji Maharaj Road.
They added by saying that so many villages and districts still have Islamic names, who will change them? Yogi changed the name to Prayagraj, giving a nod to the name changing, but people need to do it on a district level too. If you do not change the name now, then in any case the names of the Hindu towns and villages will change in 20 years. Therefore, while the time is on our side, we should make name-changing an agenda.
They said further, “Today, Akbar is taking away our daughters, what are we doing? They are breaking our temples on a daily basis. If Maharana Pratap were here, would they be able to break our temples? If Maharana Pratap were there, would there be a mosque on Mathura-Janmabhoomi? On our Mahadev mandir, we made such a big corridor, but we have not even been able to worship our Lord.”
“In Kashi, where the PM of India, the Chief Minister of the state, and many devotees like me, go to worship, do you know that it is an imitation and the real Shivling is buried in Gyanvapi? Even as we celebrate the 75th year of Independence, in this Amrit Kaal, I will only think of it as complete independence when the government frees 4.5-lakh temples that are beneath the mosques,” they concluded.
Regrettably, the Modi regime has usurped all basic rights of the people of occupied territory while on the other; it is attempting to hide its crimes by holding events like the G20 meetings in the territory.
Will the Narendra Modi-led Indian government continue to resort to nefarious tactics to mislead the international community about the prevailing grim situation in his country and illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir?
