Finance Minister leaves for US to attend important meetings of World Bank and IMF

ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has left for the United States to attend the World Bank Group and IMF Spring meetings.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance, the meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be held in Washington, DC from April 13 to 18.

Before these meetings, the Finance Minister will visit Boston, where he will attend the Pakistan Conference at Harvard University. On this occasion, Muhammad Aurangzeb will interact with experts, policymakers and the Pakistani community to discuss the economy, reform initiatives and development prospects.

During the visit, the Finance Minister will represent Pakistan in important meetings of international financial institutions.

On this occasion, he will meet with global financial leaders and development partners, including the Managing Director of the World Bank and other senior leadership.
