ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet meeting scheduled for today has been postponed, in which, according to sources, the 27th Constitutional Amendment was likely to be approved.

According to the federal cabinet meeting convened today was to approve the 27th Constitutional Amendment, but it has been postponed due to the PPP CEC meeting.

Sources say that a 13-point agenda was set for the federal cabinet meeting, but the meeting had to be postponed due to the PPP CEC.

On the other hand, a Senate meeting has been convened today, the agenda of which does not include the 27th Constitutional Amendment, however, the draft of the constitutional amendment is likely to be presented as a supplementary agenda.

According to sources, after approval from the federal cabinet, the agenda of the 27th Constitutional Amendment will be presented in the parliament and the 27th Constitutional Amendment is likely to be presented as a supplementary agenda.

Similarly, the agenda of the National Assembly session was also released after the Senate, the 27th Constitutional Amendment is not included in the National Assembly agenda either, the National Assembly Secretariat released a 14-point agenda for the session.
