The Election Commission of Pakistan has disqualified Senator Murad Saeed and de-notified him.

Notification of the Election Commission of Pakistan Murad Saeed was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi.

The Election Commission’s announcement said that the disqualification was implemented under Article 63(1)(h) of the Constitution, the general seat of the Senate from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was declared vacant.
