Domestic exports increased by 16.43% to $2.68 billion

Islamabad: In the first month of the current fiscal year 2025-26 (July 2025), Pakistan’s exports increased by 16.43% to $2.68 billion.

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, textile exports increased by 32% to $1.67 billion, exports of ready-made garments, cotton yarn, fabrics, netwear, bedwear, towels have increased, exports of tents, canvas, tarpaulins, etc. have decreased, exports of food grains have decreased by 10.25% and the volume has been recorded at $426.9 million.

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, food exports in the same period last fiscal year were $475.7 million. In July, exports of basmati rice, vegetables, oil seeds, and sugar declined. Exports of fruits, spices, meat and its products increased. Exports of auto parts, leather products, and surgical instruments also increased.

According to the report, exports of plastic materials, medicines, and transport equipment declined. Exports of petroleum and coal declined by 23.37 percent, after which the volume stood at $48.8 million. Exports of specific industries declined by 17.35 percent on an annual basis.
