ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will visit Saudi Arabia from August 25 to 26.
After his visit to Dhaka, Ishaq Dar will directly leave for Jeddah where he will attend an extraordinary meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.
The OIC meeting will consider a joint strategy in the context of the current situation in Palestine, the Israeli aggression and the plan for military control over Gaza will also be discussed in the meeting.
The OIC foreign ministers will consider serious violations of the rights of the Palestinian people.
Pakistan has always supported the Palestinian people at international forums, Ishaq Dar will reiterate its unwavering support for Palestine in the meeting.
Ishaq Dar will demand withdrawal from all occupied territories of Israel, including Jerusalem, and Pakistan will reject the plan for Israeli military control over Gaza.
Pakistan will emphasize the need for immediate humanitarian assistance for the Palestinian people, while the demand for the establishment of a Palestinian state will also be reiterated in the meeting.
Ishaq Dar is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of key member countries.
