KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on Friday extended the stay of Ranger for one year under the article 147 of the constitution.
The decision was taken on the directives of PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari who asked the CM Sindh to extend the stay of Rangers for one year to ensure smooth and across the board operation in Karachi.
It is pertinent to mention that the policing power of Rangers were supposed to endtonight but the paramilitary force would continue its action against the terrorism after getting extension of another year.
