Islamabad: On the call of PTI founder Imran Khan, convoys led by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Opposition Leader Omar Ayub entered the boundaries of Punjab, after which the PTI has changed its strategy.
According to Express News, convoys from Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa left for Islamabad to protest against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. The convoys from Balochistan and Sindh reached Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and gathered at one place.

The Chief Minister said in a short address to the workers in Swabi that now we have to move forward and not return until Imran Khan is released. He said that we should use all our strength to open the way.
When the large PTI convoy led by the Chief Minister left Swabi, it entered the boundaries of Punjab, when the police shelled Attock Bridge, Chhich Interchange and Ghazi Bertha Canal.
Later, the Chief Minister directed the convoy to stop at Ghazi Maqam for a while and said in his address that the workers should prepare because there is a fight ahead.
Don’t come back without taking Khan, Bushra Bibi In a short address to the workers, Bushra Bibi said, “You sit in your vehicles, we have to go fast and don’t come back without taking Khan, you will get tired if you do this.”
When the participants of the convoy coming from Haripur reached Attock Bridge, the police fired heavily, on which the protesters set fire to the green belt around them, while a Suzuki parked on Ghazi Bridge was also set on fire.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf changed its strategy after the convoy entered Punjab’s borders and directed the Hazara Division convoys reaching Taxila to return to the Burhan Motorway Rest Area via GT Road and join Ali Amin Gandapur’s convoy.

Omar Ayub enters Punjab’s borders with the convoy Earlier, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub reached Taxila in a convoy where a police convoy was shelled at the check post. Later, the police had to retreat due to the advance of PTI workers.
A large convoy led by Secretary General PTI Omar Ayub from Hazara Haripur crossed the police barrier at Gango Bahtar and entered Punjab’s borders. In which workers are present in large numbers.

Police actions The police dispersed a group of a few people who had reached near the Faizabad interchange, while the federal police also shelled near the Faizabad bridge to disperse the workers who had gathered near Sohan after seeing the police advancing towards them.

According to sources, PTI workers pelted stones at police personnel in Faizabad and tried to enter Islamabad. Due to the heavy deployment of police, miscreants have so far failed in their objectives.
Police say that no worker will be allowed to take the law into their own hands, action will be taken against the workers according to the law and they will be dealt with with an iron hand.

In the Bachiana area of Jaranwala tehsil of Faisalabad, police arrested several workers, including Rai Habibullah, brother of PTI MNA Rai Haider Salahuddin Kharal. Police arrested PTI MNA Azimuddin Lakhvi from NA-133 along with his associates.
