According to Gulf News, the Indian Sports Ministry has given the green signal to India to play against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

According to the website, the Sports Ministry said in a statement to ANI that India will not participate in any bilateral competition with Pakistan nor will it allow Pakistani players to play in India. However, Indian athletes or teams are free to participate in such multinational events that also include Pakistan.

It should be noted that an important match will be held between India and Pakistan in the Asia Cup on September 14.
