ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked foreign Pakistanis on Wednesday for sending $57 million in a single day, which helped the Roshan Digital Accounts surpass $4.5 billion in total reserves.
“Happy that State Bank received $57 million yesterday, the largest investment in a day ever,” he tweeted.
The prime minister thanked Pakistanis living abroad for their faith in their homeland.
He enthusiastically endorsed the Roshan Digital Account scheme.
