Pakistan’s renowned singer and actor Ali Zafar has expressed his feelings after winning a defamation case against fellow singer Meesha Shafi and thanked Allah Almighty.

Ali Zafar wrote in his Instagram post that after a long and patient legal phase, he finally got justice.

The case continued for almost eight years, the decision of which was announced on March 31. The court ruled in its decision that Meesha Shafi neither appeared in court on multiple appearances nor could she present strong evidence in support of her allegations, while all the witnesses were presented in court on behalf of Ali Zafar, after which the decision was announced in his favor.

Two days after his legal victory, Ali Zafar broke his silence on the matter through a post on Instagram, saying that he is grateful to Allah and to all those who supported him in difficult times and defended the truth.
