In Islamabad, Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has said in a statement on X that the recent activities of Zulfi Bukhari and Imran Khan’s sons reflect a clear political agenda.
He said that for political purposes, personal narratives are being pushed forward by putting Pakistan’s national interests behind them.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that meetings with controversial and anti-Pakistan individuals like Arif Ajakia are not part of any normal political process but seem to be a continuation of a well-thought-out narrative. According to him, some elements are busy creating an atmosphere against Pakistan at the global level and with such actions they only want to keep their politics alive.
He said that at this time the country needs unity, stability and responsible leadership and such steps are tantamount to weakening the national narrative. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry raised the question whether this is the politics that was claimed in the name of “change” or is every limit being crossed to gain power by damaging national dignity. He said that the people of Pakistan understand well who stands with the country and who is protecting its interests.
