The reaction of the Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority, Hina Pervaiz Butt, has come to light on the statement made by Pakistani actress Hina Altaf that Karachi is a prison for women.

On this statement, Hina Pervaiz Butt released a video message and said that you should come to Lahore because women feel safer here than in London.

She said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the protection of women is a top priority and the government is determined to provide an environment where women can move without fear.

She further claimed that steps have been taken to protect women in Lahore from harassment and violence.

It should be noted that Hina Altaf had recently shared a video while walking on the streets of London in which she said that after returning to Karachi, she would have to live a prison-like life again because girls cannot roam freely there.
