During a difficult period, Agha turned to domestic cricket, where he scored an unbeaten 300 runs in a President’s Trophy Grade-I match.

Pakistani batter Salman Ali Agha made a spectacular comeback to international cricket by scoring a brilliant century against Sri Lanka; however, it was his unique celebration style that caught the attention of the fans. Many speculated that Agha might have adopted this gesture to respond to his critics—following his loss of the T20 International captaincy and his exclusion from the Test squad—but the reality was quite different.

In a post-match press conference, Salman Ali Agha revealed that the celebration was dedicated to his son. He explained that his son expresses joy in this exact manner while watching cricket on TV, so he decided to do the same.
