Bangkok: Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), has stated that the recent attacks on Saudi Arabia could have repercussions worldwide.

According to international media reports, while speaking at a press conference in Bangkok on the sidelines of the IMF and World Bank annual meetings, she noted that the Saudi economy is significant for both the region and the world.

Consequently, the potential negative impacts of these events could be felt everywhere and by everyone. She added that the recent attacks on Saudi Arabia are driving up global energy prices.
