According to Indian media, Yami Gautam—who recently won the National Award for Best Actress—has made an appeal to the media regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The actress specifically objected to the use of AI tools to alter or enhance her appearance without her consent.

Taking to the social media platform X, the actress requested the media to refrain from using AI to modify or enhance photos of her taken at public events before publishing them. Media reports indicate that she made this request following the emergence of AI-generated deepfake videos of celebrities within the industry.
