Washington: US President Donald Trump has stated that the Strait of Hormuz is no longer the reason for the rise in gasoline prices.

Trump noted that a record number of oil barrels are entering the market almost daily.

According to the US President, refineries in Russia are being affected by Ukrainian attacks, which is impacting oil supplies.

Trump added that US refineries are also being shut down in Democratic-led states like California.
