According to Express News, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the London Stock Exchange and attended the market open ceremony. He was welcomed by London Stock Exchange Group CEO David Swimmer and senior officials.
Shahbaz Sharif is the first Prime Minister of Pakistan to receive this honor. Speaking at the ceremony, Shahbaz Sharif said that it is an honor for me to be invited to the ceremony.

Earlier, during his visit to the UK, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held separate meetings with senior officials of world-renowned financial institutions Barclays, JP Morgan, Citi, BlackRock and Rothschild & Co in London today.
The meetings discussed in detail Pakistan’s economic reform agenda, economic stability, investment-friendly environment and promotion of cooperation with the global financial sector.
In a meeting with Barclays Head of Private Bank and Wealth Management UK Muhammad Kamal Syed, the Prime Minister welcomed the bank’s interest in Pakistan.
