Lahore: PML-N leader and former Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has stated that the government and the protesters should engage in dialogue and keep the conversation going; if there is a genuine intent to resolve issues, a way forward can certainly be found.




Writing on a social media platform, Khawaja Saad Rafique urged the government and the protesters to rise above egos, obstinacy, and factionalism. He remarked that there would be no victor among them, as everyone is currently losing.




He emphasized that the State must always take the initiative; such a step should be taken to avert the loss of life and property. He noted that trampling upon each other's dignity is an act of pettiness, not something to be proud of. Pakistan—scorched by the fires of inflation, unemployment, injustice, and terrorism—is groaning and crying out for help; that cry must be heeded.
