Pakistan’s Test captain Babar Azam and middle-order batter Saud Shakeel have improved in the latest ICC Test batting rankings after individual performances in the 3-Test series against England.

Pakistan suffered a 3-0 whitewash against England, but their ranking increased due to the better performance of some batters in the last Test.

Babar Azam, who scored 76 off 103 balls in the second innings of the Edgbaston Test, has moved up two places to 13th. Saud Shakeel also moved up two places to 16th. Saud scored 43 and 29 in the third Test.

He came in 37th place. He scored 95 runs in the second innings of the Edgbaston Test.

Razaullah, who made his Test debut for Pakistan, joined the ranking at 91st. He played an aggressive innings of 81 runs in just 63 balls in the second innings which included 9 sixes and 4 fours.

On the other hand, Abdullah Shafiq’s ranking dropped 11 places to 46th. Mohammad Rizwan dropped one place to 34th while Salman Ali Agha dropped one place to 44th.
