Leader of the PPP Senator Shahadat Awan said PPP wants provinces to be formed in accordance with the constitution, it is written in the Constitution that provinces can be formed, there is no local government in Punjab, local government system must be improved, provinces take NFC share, we have to be united for the sake of the country’s interest, the powers of the provinces must be further increased, we will move forward when the issue of provinces comes up in Parliament, there is a lot of talk about provinces these days, we stand with PML-N, they compare Punjab with Sindh, they have not been able to hold local government elections in Punjab for eight years, Punjab’s progress is evident from recent rains, are they afraid to go out in public, there is a local government within Sindh, MQM Pakistan is the second largest party in Karachi, the constitution says that every prisoner should be provided with medical facilities, families of prisoners should meet with them.

MNA Muslim League-N Anjum Aqeel said local government elections are going to be held, this proposal was made two or three months ago, there is a lot of noise in the provinces these days, all political parties should sit together and think of a solution, despite the existence of local government in Sindh, no work is being done there, Punjab is developing despite the lack of local government, Punjab is on the path of development, we should talk about the provinces, everyone has the right to talk, provinces will be discussed in the National Assembly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is plagued by terrorism, political parties should discuss the creation of provinces together in confidence, political parties should discuss provinces in the assembly, no political party should be angered about the provinces, the four provinces should work together to find a solution, provinces should be formed based on population and public opinion must be taken.

MNA MQM Pakistan Sabeen Ghauri said Sindh is divided into different divisions, there is a distribution of resources in the country, Pakistan’s population has now reached 250 million, ministers of all four provinces are not running it properly due to population growth, powers must be transferred to the lower level, this will solve all problems, they will have to create provinces at all costs, everyone knows the situation in Sindh, local government powers are not being given, Karachi is in a very bad situation right now, the biggest problem is governance, they invested Rs 21,000 billion in the name of development, corruption will not end with the formation of provinces, but it will be reduced, there is a feudal system in Sindh, it is written in the constitution that provinces can be created, Murad Ali Shah has said that he cannot talk about the province even in the National Assembly, we strongly condemn this statement, voices are being raised from all over Pakistan about provinces, a formula for creating provinces must be decided.
