President of Pakistan Traders Association Ajmal Baloch said IMF says 120 million Pakistanis lack purchasing power, people are leaving Pakistan and going abroad, the farmer’s situation is very bad at the moment, the price of fertilizer in Pakistan is 17 thousand, fertilizer is available in India for Rs 4,000, the country’s business conditions are very bad, there is a lot of corruption in every institution, I have never committed corruption in my life, we must adopt China’s formula to eliminate corruption, China has won the economic war, steel mill collapsed due to corruption, trader friendly scheme was brought before but they closed it, this time taxes have been reduced, people are ready to pay taxes, whoever commits corruption should be kept in jail for the rest of his life, sell all his properties and spend them for the development of the country.
Chairman All Pakistan Farmers Foundation Syed Mahmood Bukhari said all the governments that have come to power have not paid attention to agriculture, wheat was abundant in the country, today we are importing wheat from outside, farmers got better rates during PTI rule, today, the farmer’s condition is very bad, the government is only making claims, the government has flopped in every sector, if agriculture is improved, the country will progress, DAP fertilizer prices are very high, farmers in India are getting cheap electricity, our farmers are not being given crop rates, we want the farmer to be given the rate for his crop, they have destroyed agriculture, they have completely destroyed cotton, strong people have destroyed cotton, the farmer is very worried, he is selling his land, they are treating the farmers very badly, farmers are not compensated for this, wheat and other crops had good prices in 2021, there is a severe shortage of water in the country, Pakistan is currently stuck in an economic quagmire.
Vice President FPCCI Tariq Jadoon said we keep the government informed of our suggestions, FBR has entered the retail sector, we want the country’s economy to run smoothly, many things need to be fixed in the country, Chairman FBR must play a role in the country’s development, taxes have been reduced, hopefully there will be improvement, the country is facing many problems in its exports, the Prime Minister is doing a great job to improve the economy, we have to improve the consistency of our policies, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is working very hard, we have to build dams to stop water wastage, we must stop wasting water, all parties should sit together for the development of the country.
Vice President Abad Syed Afzal Hameed said the government’s recent steps are encouraging, the government is providing facilities to the construction industry, Islamabad has developed a lot in two years, we want to do as much work as possible, a lot of work is also being done in the housing society, black money is slowly coming out, government governance is improving day by day.
