Islamabad: Pakistan has started the offering process for issuing US dollar benchmark Eurobonds.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the offering process for 5-year and 10-year Eurobonds has been started, however, the final issuance of the Eurobond will be subject to the global market situation.

The Ministry of Finance says that Pakistan’s sovereign credit rating has continuously improved, while investor confidence has also increased due to the improvement in economic fundamentals.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the issuance of the Eurobond will prove to be a significant step towards Pakistan’s re-access to the global capital market.
