ISLAMABAD: On the directions of the Prime Minister, the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has accelerated steps for the effective implementation of regulatory reforms, which aim to facilitate business activities and provide a conducive environment for investment promotion.
Under the ongoing initiatives by the SIFC, unnecessary rules, paperwork and complex requirements are being reviewed and simplified or eliminated, which is expected to reduce the difficulties faced by business individuals and institutions.
As a result of regulatory reforms, focus is being placed on reducing bureaucratic hurdles, simplifying the licensing process and removing unnecessary obstacles hindering the start-up of a business.
According to the SIFC, the reforms are also proving helpful in reducing the administrative burden and operational costs on business entities, while the rules and regulations are being made more simple and transparent through effective coordination between different institutions.
The easy and business-friendly system is expected to create new opportunities for investment and business activities in the country.
