The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced that China’s Guangdong Regional Men’s Hockey Team will be on an extensive hockey tour of Pakistan from October 12 to 30, 2026.
According to the Pakistan Hockey Federation, the Chinese regional team’s visit is part of efforts to further strengthen hockey ties between Pakistan and China, provide Pakistani players with continuous international-standard competition, and promote sports exchanges between the two countries.
During the tour of Pakistan, the Guangdong team will play a number of competitive matches against Pakistani departmental, institutional, and club teams at various major hockey centers in the country.

October 29: Additional Match — Final Decision To be decided, the location will be decided later.
The Guangdong team delegation will arrive in Pakistan on October 12 and will leave for home on October 30, 2026.
According to the PHF, the long tour will give the Chinese regional team international experience, while the Pakistani teams will have the opportunity to play against a strong Chinese team in different parts of the country.
The Pakistan Hockey Federation has described the tour as an important step towards expanding hockey cooperation between Pakistan and China, promoting regular international contacts and creating more opportunities for players, coaches and officials.
The federation hopes that the Chinese team’s visit to Pakistan will also help in the promotion of hockey at the domestic level and expand the scope of international competitions from Islamabad and Lahore to important hockey centers like Rawalpindi, Wah Cantt, Narowal and Gojra.
According to the PHF, more details regarding the Chinese delegation, match timings and the proposed additional match on October 29 will be released in due course.
