ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan Dan Stoenescu has extended warm greetings to the Pakistani nation on the occasion of Independence Day, highlighting a beautiful chapter of the shared cultural ties between Pakistan and Romania.
In his special message, Ambassador Stoenescu recalled the two countries’ cultural connection through the first professional polyphonic choral arrangement and official musical score of Pakistan’s national anthem, Qaumi Tarana.
He noted that this unique rendition of Pakistan’s national anthem was performed earlier this year by Romania’s renowned Madrigal National Chamber Choir, conducted by Marin Constantin.
The ambassador described the initiative as a unique and valuable cultural contribution by Romania to Pakistan’s rich musical and cultural heritage.
He said the cultural links between Pakistan and Romania reflect the longstanding friendship, mutual respect and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
Ambassador Stoenescu also conveyed his best wishes to the people of Pakistan for peace, prosperity and continued progress, expressing hope that Pakistan would always shine with strength, unity and hope.
He once again extended heartfelt congratulations to the Pakistani nation on Independence Day.
