Indian actress and politician Kangana Ranaut has suddenly reversed her harsh stance on the youth and called them India’s valuable asset and the country’s real strength.
Kangana Ranaut, who had expressed her anger over the protests of the new generation and the videos circulating on social media a few days ago, has now adopted a completely different approach in talking to the media. Speaking to an Indian news agency, she said that the new generation is the real strength of India and it is a matter of joy that the youth of the country are now emerging as ambassadors of Indian culture and national identity.
Kangana’s latest statement has also become the center of attention because a few days ago, her tone was very harsh towards the youth. Bharatiya Janata Party MP Kangana Ranaut had severely criticized the new generation on social media in the context of anti-government protests related to the NET exam.
The actress, while reacting to the youth protests and social media videos at that time, claimed that she had never seen so much ugliness and dirt in one place in her entire life. She had even called the new generation of women influenced by Western culture ‘generation gutter’.
In her previous statement, Kangana had also strongly criticized some videos on social media and said that watching such videos makes her feel sick. According to her, the youth are exposing themselves and the world to their ‘dirt’ and after seeing all this, she feels the need to stay away from social media for some time.
However, after the strong reaction from the public and social media users to these statements, Kangana’s stance seems to be changing. In her latest statement, instead of criticizing the youth, she said that Gen Z is India’s strength and cultural identity.
