Islamabad: Approval has been given to give civil awards to martyrs and ghazis of the country and 78 people have been included in this list.
A meeting of the Special Committee on Gallantry Awards was held under the chairmanship of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in which it was approved to give civil awards to martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the beloved country and ghazis who showed courage and bravery.

A total of 78 people were approved to be given civil awards in different categories in the meeting.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that it is a national responsibility to encourage those who sacrifice their lives for the country and the nation and show extraordinary courage.

Mohsin Naqvi further said that the beloved country is grateful for the eternal sacrifices of martyrs and ghazis. The great sacrifices of martyrs and ghazis are the capital of the nation.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Federal Secretary Interior, DG FIA, Additional Secretary Cabinet and concerned officials. In addition, representatives of all four provinces also participated in the special committee meeting via Zoom.
