Korea defeated Pakistan 2-6 in the fourth Test match of the series played between Pakistan’s Under-21 and South Korea’s senior hockey teams.

Korea made a brilliant start in the first quarter played at the Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium in Islamabad, scoring two goals in the opening minutes.

In the third and fifth minutes of the match, shirt number 08 (Rim Jinkang) and shirt number 28 (Kim Hyeonhong) scored goals through penalty corners, respectively, to give Korea a 0-2 lead.

In the second quarter, shirt number 09 Muhammad Ahmed scored a beautiful field goal for Pakistan in the 19th minute of the match to make the score 1-2.

Korea was leading 1-2 until half-time. In the third quarter, Korea showed an aggressive play and scored 3 consecutive penalty corners.

Shirt number 15 (Lim Dohyun) scored in the 37th and 40th minutes, while shirt number 28 (Kim Hyeonhong) scored in the 42nd minute to make the lead 1-5.

In the fourth quarter, Pakistan’s shirt number 07 Ghulam Mustafa scored a field goal in the 43rd minute to make the score 2-5. However, in the 54th minute, Korea’s shirt number 10 (Kim Yong Bok) scored another field goal to ensure his team’s victory by 2-6.

It should be noted that Pakistan has already won the Test series 0-3. The fourth match was played by the U-21 team against Korea. The performance of the national team was highly appreciated by the hockey fans.

IPC Secretary and PHF President Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani, Chairman Selection Committee Olympian Samiullah Khan, Senior Sports Anchor Yahya Khan and representatives of sponsors were also present on this occasion.
