Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka sentenced the accused Omar Hayat to death after being found guilty in the TikToker Sana Yousuf murder case and also imposed a total of 21 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2.5 million under various sections.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka pronounced the verdict in the Sana Yousuf murder case and the court imposed a death sentence and a fine of Rs 2 million on the charge of murder, 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2 million under the section of robbery.
The court has also sentenced the accused to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2 million under Section 499 of false statements, sentenced the accused Omar Hayat to a total of 21 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 2.5 million, convicted Omar Hayat was also sentenced to death along with imprisonment.
After hearing the verdict, Sana Yousuf’s mother and father expressed satisfaction.
After the court’s death sentence decision, the police covered the convict’s head with a cloth and left for Adiala Jail.
It may be recalled that on June 2, 2025, Sana Yousuf was killed by a Tik Tok in her house in Islamabad and later the accused was arrested from Jaranwala. A total of 27 prosecution witnesses appeared in the case.
