President Donald Trump has said that the US decided to cease hostilities with Iran at the request of other countries, especially Pakistan.
The US President expressed these views while talking to reporters on his return from a visit to China. He also said that the US may attack Iran again in the future.
President Trump also claimed that the US has almost destroyed Iran’s military capability, but after a month of ceasefire, they must have stood up a little, so now we may have to go back and do a little ‘clear-up work’.
The US President added that I personally was not in favor of a cease-fire with Iran, but the US took this step at the request of other countries, especially Pakistan.
On the other hand, Iran described the US statements as “psychological tactics” and said that the country’s defense strength is intact. If Iran is attacked again, it will be responded to decisively.
According to US media reports, in recent weeks, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar have made strenuous efforts to broker a US-Iran ceasefire through behind-the-scenes diplomatic contacts.
