Karachi: The Sindh government has decided to increase facilities for media houses and journalists.
Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon chaired an important meeting of the Information Department and reviewed the government’s measures for media houses and journalists.
Acting Secretary Information Moiz Pirzada, Director Advertisements Muhammad Yousuf Kaburo, Director Films Hizbullah Memon, Deputy Director Information Sarang Latif Chandio attended the meeting. The meeting also reviewed the measures and facilities taken by the Sindh government for media houses and journalists.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that important decisions have been taken regarding the future, publicity and effective use of film projects completed under the Information Department. The meeting also discussed in detail the promotion strategy of film projects prepared under the supervision of the Information Department.
He added that the main objective of film projects is to promote the national narrative and highlight positive trends in the society.
He said that the Sindh government is taking serious steps to revive and promote the film industry. We want the real culture, history, and social beauty of Pakistan, especially Sindh, to be presented to the world in a modern way.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that positive and responsible journalism plays a key role in social development. The Sindh government wants to further strengthen cooperation with media houses and journalists. On this occasion, various issues were also considered to further improve the performance of the Information Department.
