Pakistan Women’s squad for the T20 International Women’s series against Zimbabwe has been announced.
Fatima Sana will lead Pakistan in the three-match series to be played at the National Bank Stadium Karachi. The Pakistan team includes Alia Riaz, Amber Kainat, Ayesha Zafar, Iman Fatima, Gul Feroza, Iram Javed, Muniba Ali (wicketkeeper), Nashreh Sindhu, Natalia Pervez, Ramin Shamim, Sidra Iqbal, Saira Jabeen, Tasmia Rabab and Tuba Hassan.
The series aims to provide the Pakistan Women’s team with an opportunity to improve their preparations ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5.
Before the mega event, Pakistan will participate in a tri-nation T20 Women’s tournament to be held in Ireland from May 28 to June 4, which will also include Ireland and the West Indies.
The first match of the T20 International series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe will be played on May 12, the second on May 14 and the third and final match on May 15.
