ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari will visit China from today to May 1 at the invitation of the Chinese government.

This important visit is a continuation of the long-standing high-level exchanges between the two countries.

The President will visit Changsha, Hunan Province from April 25 to 27 and Sanya, Henan Province from April 28 to May 1. During this time, he will hold important meetings with the provincial leadership there.

The meetings will include detailed discussions on Pakistan-China bilateral relations, with a special focus on economic and trade cooperation as well as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
