British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper held a key meeting with Ishaq Dar to discuss ceasefire extension and restoration of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
Yvette Cooper said that the UK recognizes Pakistan’s diplomatic role. Pakistan has played an important role in facilitating the negotiations.
On the other hand, Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson said that the Polish Deputy Prime Ministers appreciated the positive momentum in Pakistan-Poland relations. The Deputy Prime Ministers reiterated their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The spokesperson said that the Deputy Prime Ministers also had an in-depth discussion on current regional and global issues. The Polish Deputy Prime Minister appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in facilitating a ceasefire between Iran and the United States.
