Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, along with their delegation, have completed their three-day official visit to Iran.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, along with a delegation, completed their visit to Iran, during which the Field Marshal met with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezishkian.
According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal held separate meetings with Speaker of the National Assembly Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, and Commander of Khatam Al-Anbiya Headquarters Major General Ali Abdullah.
The statement said that Field Marshal Asim Munir stressed the importance of dialogue, de-escalation and continued diplomatic engagement to resolve issues. The Field Marshal thanked the Iranian leadership and people for the warm hospitality.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, the Field Marshal expressed his best wishes on behalf of the President, Prime Minister and people of Pakistan. The Field Marshal reiterated his commitment to further strengthen the historical and brotherly relations between the two countries.
