Major changes are being made in the management of Pakistan Cricket’s Test team for the tour of Bangladesh, according to sources, Umar Gul, Asad Shafiq and Abdul Saad are likely to be given new responsibilities.

According to sources, Umar Gul can be appointed as the bowling coach of the Test team, while Asad Shafiq can be appointed as the batting coach. On the other hand, Abdul Saad is a strong candidate as the fielding coach of the team, he has previously served with the Pakistan Women’s team and can take on responsibilities with the Men’s team for the first time.

Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s name has also been almost finalized for the post of assistant coach, which will be officially announced in the next few days.

According to sources, the formal announcement of the Pakistan Test team and management is expected soon, while the team is scheduled to tour Bangladesh next month, where two Test matches will be played. The first Test is scheduled for May 8 and the second for May 16.
