Development Projects Must Be Completed on Time with No Compromise on Quality, Affirms Parliamentary Secretary Barrister Danyal Chaudhry

Rawalpindi, April 16, 2026 – A meeting of the District Coordination Committee was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Rawalpindi today, led by senior Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader and Member of National Assembly, Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, and Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry.

The meeting underscored the need to complete all ongoing development projects across the district within their stipulated timelines, with no compromise on quality. The session was attended by members of the National and Provincial Assemblies from Rawalpindi, as well as officials from various government departments. Representatives from the relevant authorities provided detailed briefings on the progress of development projects under their respective sectors.

Speaking on the occasion, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry commended the development initiatives underway in Rawalpindi district under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He stated that effective measures are being taken to improve education, health, sanitation, and other basic sectors. He highlighted the establishment of new educational and health centers, construction of hospitals, upgradation of schools, and provision of school buses for Special Need students as key public welfare initiatives. He further directed that public issues be resolved promptly and that basic amenities be ensured at the grassroots level.

Barrister Danyal reaffirmed the government’s commitment to utilizing all available resources for the development of Rawalpindi district and the welfare of its citizens, in line with the government’s vision, to ensure the provision of better facilities to the people.
