Gold prices recorded a major decline today after a one-day break in global and local markets.
The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market recorded a major decline of $95 on Thursday, as a result of which the new global price has come down to $4,723 per ounce.
Under the influence of the global market, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in the local bullion markets has also decreased by Rs9,500 to Rs494,662, while the price of gold per 10 grams has decreased by Rs8,145 to Rs424,092.
Similarly, at the local level, the price of silver per tola has decreased by Rs 300 to Rs 7,884, and the price of silver per 10 grams has also decreased by Rs 257 to Rs 6,759.
