Gerries Group has announced the launch of Centrum Air, a new international airline in Pakistan, to boost air connectivity between Pakistan and Central Asia.
The airline will commence regular flight operations from April 21, initially with direct flights from Lahore to Tashkent. This initiative will provide Pakistani passengers with access to various important destinations around the world via Tashkent.
The inauguration ceremony held in Ahur was attended by prominent figures from the aviation and travel sectors, where the route network and future plans were also presented. According to the Jerez Group, Centrum Air will provide passengers with affordable travel rates with low costs and improved amenities.
The company says that the launch of Lahore-Tashkent flights will further strengthen trade and tourism ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan and usher in a new era of air travel in the region.
