Lahore: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that the terrorism that has returned to the country is behind PTI.
While holding a press conference with scholars in Lahore, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that I have come to express solidarity, calling those responsible for the unfortunate incident in Islamabad as human beings is an insult to humanity.
He said that people who were busy worshipping Allah were targeted because these terrorists have no religion. I assure you on behalf of the entire state that we are making every effort to ensure the security of all mosques, Imambargahs and religious centers. We will eradicate these terrorists from the root.
Attaullah Tarar said that the incident in the suburbs is regrettable but this is not a security failure. We have to unite and confront this thinking. He said that our security forces have all the skills, which they are combating and will continue to do.
The Federal Minister said that I did not want to talk politics here, but you will remember that there was an operation Radd-ul-Fasaad and Zarb-e-Azb, you will remember that suicide attacks had ended, peace in Karachi had also been restored. Then a government came, when someone said that these are peaceful people, they are our brothers, we should talk to them and they were brought and settled in settled areas.
He said that the same thinking, which was the thinking of Taliban Khan, is the same thinking that we are suffering the consequences of today. We have eradicated terrorism. Now the terrorism that has returned is behind PTI.
Attaullah Tarar said that the ability to reach hard targets has been lost among terrorists. That is why they look for soft targets in remote or suburban areas and target them. Our security agencies are on full alert. We are also taking more stringent measures. We will chase the terrorists, we will not leave them.
Addressing a press conference, he said that there has been a lot of progress regarding the Islamabad incident. The facilitators will be brought to justice. The aim of the Peace Message Committee is to promote harmony in the country and eliminate terrorist ideologies. This committee has representation from all schools of thought. There is no room for sectarianism and hatred in the country.
The Federal Information Minister said that Afghan soil is being used against Pakistan. Terrorists are shedding the blood of Muslims for the sake of a few crores. The circle around them is tightening. The Prime Minister has given complete instructions to the Interior Minister regarding counter-terrorism.
