ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that the Imambargara blast was a suicide attack, information about the attacker has been obtained and details of how many times he has traveled to Afghanistan have also been revealed.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry told the media that those who carried out this attack are also sponsored by our neighbors. This incident came to the notice of the Islamabad administration at 1:42 pm and according to the information collected so far, 31 people have been killed and more than 100 injured.

He said that an emergency has been imposed in hospitals in Islamabad. On the orders of the Prime Minister and the Interior Minister, I was present at PIMS Hospital.

Talal Chaudhry said that information about the terrorist who carried out the suicide attack has been obtained. He is not a citizen of Afghanistan, but details of how many times he has traveled to Afghanistan have been revealed.

The Minister of State for Interior claimed that this is BLA terrorism, these terrorists have reached the limits of cowardice, they attack soft targets.

He said that among today’s 31 martyrs, the cousin brother of the IG Islamabad was also martyred.

He said that the implementation of the National Action Plan is ongoing, there is no ambiguity of leniency in it, the Interior Minister has visited the Imambargah and obtained all the details.
