Field Marshal: The dawn of freedom will dawn soon as per the wishes of the Kashmiri people

Muzaffarabad: Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has paid tribute to the martyrs of the Kashmir freedom movement and said that the dawn of freedom will dawn soon as per the wishes of the Kashmiri people.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Muzaffarabad and paid tribute to the martyrs of the freedom movement by laying a wreath at the Jammu and Kashmir Martyrs’ Memorial and appreciating the unparalleled courage, sacrifice and undying struggle of the martyrs of the Kashmir movement.

Speaking to dignitaries and ex-servicemen on the occasion, Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering political, moral and diplomatic support to the people of illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that Indian atrocities, continuous human rights violations and Hindutva-based excesses have failed to suppress the legitimate struggle and aspirations of the Kashmiri people, reiterating Pakistan’s steadfast support and support for the Kashmir cause.

The Field Marshal said that the dawn of freedom will dawn soon as per the wishes and destiny of the Kashmiri people, Pakistan will continue to vigorously highlight the Kashmir issue at all relevant international forums until a just resolution of the Kashmir dispute is achieved in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

He said that Pakistan will continue to express complete solidarity with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

The Chief of Defence Forces appreciated the unwavering commitment, high morale, professionalism and combat readiness of the officers and men deployed in Kashmir and stressed the importance of maintaining high levels of readiness, readiness and effective coordination in all sectors despite challenging operational conditions so that any provocation by the enemy can be responded to in a timely and decisive manner.

Field Marshal Asim Munir also inspected a forward post during the visit where he met the soldiers deployed on the front and said that any aggression will be responded to promptly, swiftly and effectively.

He said that the armed forces are fully prepared to deal with conventional and hybrid threats in the changing security environment.

Earlier, on his arrival in Muzaffarabad, the Chief of Defence Forces was received by Commander Rawalpindi Corps.
