Cricket rivals Pakistan and India will clash on February 15.
According to details, Pakistan has decided to participate in the T20 World Cup starting from February 7, but the national cricket team will not play the scheduled match against India on February 15 as a protest.
On the other hand, Pakistan and India will compete in the group match of the ACC Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars in Bangkok, Thailand on the same day.
A training camp for the event to be held in Bangkok from February 13 to 22 is underway in Karachi.
An attempt was made to hone the skills of the selected players in a practice match at the Hanif Muhammad High Performance Center on Monday.
At the end of the camp, the Pakistan Women’s A team will leave for Thailand on February 10.
8 teams will participate in the tournament to be held in the T20 format. Pakistan is included in Group A along with India, UAE and Nepal, while Group B will consist of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and host Thailand.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
Four countries will field their national women’s teams while four A teams will field.
Pakistan’s first match will be against Nepal on February 13, the second match will be against India on February 15 and the third match will be against UAE on February 17.
The semi-finals will be played on February 20 while the final will be played on February 22.
