Islamabad: PTI and opposition alliance have expressed concern about Imran Khan’s health, Barrister Gohar and Raja Nasir Abbas have said that Imran Khan was brought to the hospital and the party and family were not even informed.
This was stated by the opposition alliance and PTI leaders while holding a press conference. Barrister Gohar, Raja Nasir Abbas and Salman Akram Raja were present in the press conference.
Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar said that our last meeting with Imran Khan was on December 20, till today we have not been asked to meet, we have also filed a petition but permission for the meeting could not be obtained, a newspaper reported that Imran Khan was brought to the hospital and then brought back to jail, this is causing serious concern in the party and family because till today it is not being told due to what disease he was brought? We condemn this act in the strongest terms.
They said that you people are changing the constitution for your power, this is reducing your respect in the eyes of the people, do not stop the meeting until February 8, we demand that if not today, then tomorrow.
Opposition Leader in the Senate Allama Raja Nasir Abbas said that there are reports that Imran Khan was brought to the hospital and the party does not know, as well as his family does not know, these people are falling in the eyes of the people day by day, they will have to answer for all this, it will not happen that you commit injustice and do not have to answer, the people rejected you badly on February 8, the people demolished every obstacle, if Imran Khan had been out today, this board of Donald Trump would not have been built, when the people of Gaza were screaming, you did not go to their help.
They said that you thought that they would take away the sign and not allow the corner meeting, did you see what the people did to you? The political crisis arose from the February 8 elections, unemployment has increased, farmers have suffered losses, that is why we have declared February 8 as a black day.
Salman Akram Raja said that meetings with Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are not taking place, this is in no way acceptable, their personal physician has nothing to do with politics, we have filed a petition for meetings, today we came to know that the Islamabad High Court has set aside the petition, we want Imran Khan’s personal physician and family members to be allowed to meet him, this is an act that is based on oppression.
He further said that politics may also be buried in this country, we will not do anything that is against the constitution and law, we are saying this to express our displeasure.
