The US Department of Homeland Security has revealed that several citizens from Afghanistan have been found to be involved in serious crimes, despite the Biden administration’s claim that thousands of Afghan immigrants were admitted to the United States after thorough security checks.

According to the department, there have been reports of violence and sexual crimes by Afghan immigrants whose backgrounds were unverified. In the state of Montana, Zabihullah Mohammad was charged with raping a minor, while in the state of Wisconsin, Bahrullah Noori was arrested for attempted sexual crimes against a minor.

Mohammad Haroon Maad also has serious cases related to minors. Similarly, Javed Ahmadi, who was convicted of second-degree assault, was arrested again by ICE in 2025, but was allowed to remain in the country despite his conviction.

The report also states that a man named Mohammad Kharwin, who was allegedly on a ‘terror watch list’, was arrested and released in 2024 but was recaptured a year later and is being investigated for possible terrorist links.

Abdullah Hajizadeh and Nasir Ahmad Tahde were arrested in Oklahoma on charges of planning an Election Day attack, and weapons and evidence of links to a militant group were found in their possession.

Jamal Wali was killed in a shooting during a traffic stop in the state of Virginia, and according to police, he had mentioned his affiliation with the Taliban.

The US Department of Homeland Security has said that it is important to protect the public from elements with dangerous and unverified backgrounds, and all the aforementioned criminals will be sent back to their home countries.
