ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has arrived in the capital Baku to attend the Victory Day celebrations of Azerbaijan at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
According to an official statement, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar is also accompanying the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister was received at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku by First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yakub Ayubov, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Fariz Rezayev, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin and diplomatic staff.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also hold a bilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
