Doha: A ceasefire agreement was reached after important talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Doha.

Responding to this development on the social networking website X, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that terrorism from Afghanistan on Pakistani soil will stop immediately, Alhamdulillah.

Khawaja Asif added that the two neighboring countries will now respect each other’s territory, which is an important step towards establishing peace and stability in the region.

The Defense Minister announced that delegations from both countries will meet again in Istanbul on October 25 where detailed issues will be discussed so that the points of the agreement can be effectively implemented.

In his message, Khawaja Asif expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey, saying that the mediation and hosting of these brotherly Islamic countries played a key role in this successful agreement.

It should be noted that this agreement was possible after 13 hours of negotiations, which is being described as a major diplomatic and defense achievement of Pakistan.
