Karachi: The price of gold has increased further in the global and local markets.

As a result of the increase in the price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market by $19 to $3,759, there was a trend of increasing gold and silver prices in the local bullion markets on Saturday.

At the local level, the price of 24-carat gold per tola increased by Rs1,900 to Rs3,97,700 and the price of gold per 10 grams also increased by Rs1,629 to Rs3,40,963.

Similarly, the price of silver per tola in the country increased by Rs105 to Rs4,704 and the price of silver per 10 grams also increased by Rs90 to Rs4,032.
