Sargodha: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says that Punjab faced the biggest flood in history but if timely arrangements were not made, there would have been a major disaster.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Electric Bus Project in Sargodha, the Chief Minister said that three rivers of Pakistan flooded simultaneously, due to which hundreds of villages were affected, but we had taken prior measures.

The Chief Minister said that the flood victims will start receiving checks within two weeks.

Maryam Nawaz said that the political and military leadership is taking the best decisions in the interest of the country, but the prisoner sitting in jail does not know that Pakistan has made progress, I salute the tireless work of Shahbaz Sharif.

She said that the defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia was celebrated in Riyadh. Pakistan has said that an attack on Saudi Arabia will be considered an attack on us, now the Pakistan Army will protect Muqtada and Medina.

The Chief Minister said that Pakistan has left India in the dust, the enemy will never forget. Under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, Pakistan won the war against India. Sargodha is the city of falcons, in the fight for justice, the falcons gave Pakistan a decisive victory.

Earlier, the Chief Minister of Punjab inaugurated the Green Bus Service in Sargodha under the Clean Green Punjab Program.

Green buses will be operated on different routes in 6 tehsils of the district besides Sargodha city. Charging points were installed at the General Bus Stand for charging the buses.
